Fee Structure:

Investment Management & Oversight

Your Investment Advisory Fee Includes:

  • Access to our commission-free mutual fund investment platform.

  • Most administrative costs associated with the platform, including platform fees, preparation of the statements, tax reporting and administrative forms/paperwork.

  • Select trading costs.

  • Initial portfolio constructions based on your investment objectives and risk tolerance that we will determine and analyze with you.

  • You will have an investment plan and strategy tailored specifically to your goals and risk tolerance.

  • Ongoing, active management of your investment advisory account(s):

    • Ongoing asset allocation decisions based on changing market conditions, economic indicators and (most importantly) your financial situation and needs.

    • Continuous fund manager review, monitoring, and evaluation.

    • Portfolio re-balancing and re-alignment.

    • Tax efficient investing.

    • Quarterly detailed investment review – in person or via a video conference call.

  • Most importantly, full alignment of your investment strategy with our ongoing financial planning work done throughout our relationship:

    • We will coordinate and orchestrate the many aspects of your financial life into a cohesive whole.

    • We will give you a complete understanding of where you are, where you want to go, and how to get there.

We understand that your financial situation and needs are unique. Separately Managed Accounts (SMA)

Our Separately Managed Accounts program offers a wide variety of investment solutions and model portfolios that help you meet your investment and/ or retirement goals. An SMA generally offers access to professional money management and diversification opportunities through ownership of individual securities (such as stocks and bonds), as opposed to owning shares of a fund. This differentiation provides greater flexibility, control, and tax strategy benefits.

Our Fund Advisory program offers the expertise of leading investment managers within a program that consists of an optimal selection of quality mutual funds and/or exchange traded funds (ETF). The fund advisory program is generally appropriate for investors seeking access to a professionally managed, diversified portfolio at a lower minimum.

Unified Managed Accounts (UMA)

Customization · Automatic Rebalancing · Consolidated Performance Reporting · Impact Investing

Our Unified Managed Accounts program offers investment products in a single, fully-diversified portfolio designed to provide you with a comprehensive approach to asset allocation, investment selection, and account administration. A UMA is generally appropriate when you have multiple strategies that would benefit from automatic rebalancing, a tax-aware discipline, and a consolidated performance statement.

Vetted and Monitored Investment Solutions

All investment managers on the Eagle Strategies platform are put through a rigorous due-diligence process. Experienced analysts conduct research, on-site visits, and apply critical thinking to identify managers with an investment edge that is defensible, differentiated, repeatable, and sustainable before they are made available to you. Once a manager is added to the Eagle platform, they are closely monitored to ensure they continue to meet the high standards. In the event they do not, they are removed from the platform and a suitable replacement is sourced. Eagle’s platform of investment managers incorporates a breadth and depth of vetted and well monitored investment managers.

Throughout the planning process, we will utilize eMoney, our wealth management account aggregation online portal and tool.

In certain circumstances, I act in a fiduciary capacity. I act in this capacity when I offer you fee-based financial planning services, advisory programs, and investment advice as an IAR of Eagle. I am also a fiduciary whenever I help you invest qualified monies in an IRA, advise you on rolling over your employer plan account or when I provide investment advice to a retirement plan.

In other circumstances, when I am acting as a registered representative, insurance agent or a broker with respect to non-qualified funds, while not a fiduciary, I am still required to act in your best interest.

In each of these instances, I eliminate or make full and fair disclosure of any conflicts of interest I might have.

There are times when it is most cost-effective for you to purchase a commissioned-based product and other times when it is preferable to pay an investment advisory fee. We will work together to evaluate when each framework is preferable.

When deciding on an appropriate recommendation, if we mutually agree that a commission-based brokerage service, mutual fund or other securities product account is appropriate for your financial situation, I as a Registered Representative with NYLIFE Securities LLC can facilitate these services to you and receive transaction-based compensation.

In addition to commission-based brokerage services and Variable Products offered through NYLIAC, a fixed product insurance-based solution such as life insurance or annuities may make sense for your financial situation.

I can offer these products to you through numerous insurance carriers that I am licensed with throughout the country. I receive a commission for fixed product insurance-based solutions and annuities, except for the fee-based New York Life Premier Advisory Variable Annuity in connection with which I offer advisory services as an Eagle IAR.

Throughout the course of our time together, I will always put your best interest first and foremost, and in so doing I will evaluate with you the costs and benefits of my recommendations.
